The WORLDBEX Summit 2025 is set to ignite conversations around sustainability and innovation within the building and design industry. Taking place at the SMX Convention Center Manila from March 14-16, 2025, this summit, a key component of the broader WORLDBEX exposition, promises to be a hub of knowledge and forward-thinking ideas.
This year’s summit, themed “Beyond Sustainnovation,” is a collaboration with EAROPH, and is designed to move beyond traditional trade show formats. Instead, it offers attendees an immersive experience focused on education and industry expertise.
The summit will be moderated by Ar. Cathy S. Saldaña, President of Projects Design Plus, and co-moderated by Ar. Carlo Fundador B. Marudo, an Environmental Planner and Founder & Principal of CIX Cigma Design, Planning, and Project Management. This leadership ensures a dynamic and insightful exploration of the summit’s core themes.
Over three days, attendees will hear from a diverse and esteemed lineup of speakers, each bringing unique perspectives to the table. The summit will feature discussions, interactive workshops, and developer forums, providing a comprehensive look at the future of construction and design.
Day 1 (March 14, 2025): Focus on foundational aspects of sustainability with speakers like TPR. MDM. Mazrina Abdul Khalid, Ar. Rowena C. Ramos, LArch. Frederick I. Yambao and Ar. Liza Morales, FUAP, LEED AP, ASEAN, and Mr. Luisito Ocampo Gutierrez. A workshop by LArch. Frederick I. Yambao and a Developers’ Forum will round out the day.
Day 2 (March 15, 2025): Delve into cutting-edge design and architectural trends with speakers like Ar. Nicolas Medrano, Ar. John Pauline, Ar. Charlie Frederick Hearn, IDr. Isabelle Marie Miaja, and Ar. Christopher Chua. A workshop lead by Ar. Charlie Frederick Hearn and another Developers’ Forum will follow in the latter part of the day.
Day 3 (March 16, 2025): Explore the technical and engineering aspects of sustainable development with speakers such as Mr. Edmund Dimalanta, Engr. Edgardo P. Kasilag II, MTM, Engr. Felipe P. Agustin (MEPF LEED), and Mr. Demetrio L. Rosadas. A workshop by Mr. Demetrio L. Rosadas and a final session of the Developers’ Forum will conclude the summit.
